How To Add A New Page
- Log in to the admin interface of your website (http://yourdomainname.com/wp-admin)
- Find the ‘Pages‘ menu and expand by clicking the arrow on the right of the menu label
- Click ‘Add New‘
- In the Edit Page screen type a title
- The Permalink will take your default settings. If you want to customize it, click Edit, type the new name and click OK
- Make sure the ‘Visual‘ tab is selected (unless you are proficient at HTML and prefer that method)
- To see the function of each button, hover your cursor over the icon and the a short description will appear. Click on the one on the far right named “Show/Hide Kitchen Sink (Alt+Shift+Z)” to show another row of options
- Using the options available, create content.
- To add images, find the Upload/Insert
- If you have an SEO pack, add the title, description, and tags metadata. This is important to increase your visibility by Google and the other search engines
- In the Attributes section, select whether the new page is child of a parent page (sub-page) or a parent page.
- Click ‘Publish‘ to make the page available on the site.
